Beechwood Dance Squad
Congratulations to the children who took part in the recent Dance competition at Denbigh Primary School. We took over 30 children to compete at the yearly dance competition after 12 weeks of high-quality training from Little Performers coach Carla. The children arrived very nervously, not quite sure what to expect and within the first 10 minutes, our year 2 team were up on stage dancing, finishing with a huge roar from the crowd and finishing in 3rd place. Next up for Beechwood were our 3&4 team who halfway through training had to change their song, but you never would have known as they came away with a silver medal. And finally, our year 5&6 girls only group who was the most nervous of them all, but did themselves proud finishing in 6th place.
I must say the children did fantastically and they all should be really proud of themselves. They demonstrated what amazing school are we some super talented children.
Onto next year with hopefully more medals. Make sure you give these children have huge high five when you see them around the school.
