Welcome to Beechwood Primary School

We place a firm emphasis on the importance of nurturing our children towards becoming confident, responsible, sociable, well-rounded individuals, ready for life in high school and as young adults in our community.

As you explore our website, we hope that you find this ethos reflected and enjoy the many different aspects our pupils' daily experience at Beechwood.

Young Voices - O2 Arena

On 31st January, 21 children and 4 adults from Beechwood went to the O2 Arena in London to join with over 7000 other children and sing in the world’s largest children’s choir. They sang songs ranging from the bizarre – Oh the thinks you can think, to the popular – Pop Medley. They all represented the school fantastically and are very eager to repeat the event next year.

Class Assemblies

Elm Class Assembly

On Thursday 30th January Elm class presented an assembly about Growing Plants. This lovely assembly shared what they have been learning in Science.

The children shared some information they have discovered including what plants need to grow, their bean diary's and gave a demonstration of how to plant a seed.  They also sang two songs, even some of the parents joined in!

Well done Elm class for a great assembly and thank you to the parents who gave up their time to watch.
